From time to time customers ask me to try and sell their cars through my website. I am happy to do this on a commission basis and on the understanding that I do not guarantee the car.
1960 SP 250 - £27,000
The May edition of Classic Cars has SP enthusiast Quentin Willson picking the SP along with four other Classics as a ‘smart buy’ in 2024. The ex-Top Gear presenter states “A Dart is an enormously special, long-lasting classic with a lively turn of speed.” Here is your chance to enjoy one that is ready to use now. This is an A specification car that was originally delivered to a Daimler dealer in Manchester in May 1960.
The car is well equipped and sensibly upgraded having been fitted with rack and pinion steering together with a strengthening bar beneath the dashboard. It has a stainless steel exhaust and an electric radiator fan. On the road the engine performs extremely well and overall, the car is a pleasure to drive.
The leather interior is in good condition and includes seat belts, radio and cigar lighter
The paint is now showing its age a little with some blemishes but is still very presentable. The car comes with a full service and new MOT with service history and old MOT’s going back to 1994.
